Salary: USD 160,000 - 180,000 / annual

Tines, founded in 2018 with co-headquarters in Dublin and Boston, is an intelligent workflow platform that combines AI, automation, and integration to power critical business workflows. You will join the security team as a Senior Security Operations Engineer, reporting to the Security Operations Manager. This is a key individual contributor role focused on growing and maturing Tines' security program while building new projects from the ground up. Key responsibilities include: - Drive security projects that protect customers, brand, and employees while facilitating business function - Monitor security trends and incidents, implementing controls based on lessons learned - Perform security reviews of infrastructure and product features to maintain high standards - Update policies and procedures to maintain security standards - Scale detection and response capabilities across the environment - Track and drive vulnerability remediation across production and corporate environments, partnering with engineering and infrastructure teams - Conduct security training to keep employees informed of latest threats - Act as escalation point for automated detections requiring human review - Proactively hunt for threats across the environment - Perform on-call duties including incident commander responsibilities during security incidents - Ensure security controls are deployed and tested across cloud environments and corporate endpoints - Automate security tasks using Tines' platform This role requires U.S. citizenship and work performed within the United States due to government customer requirements. Requirements: - 6–8+ years in security roles managing complex cloud environments - Excellent written and verbal English skills - Deep familiarity with cloud security (AWS or Azure): deploying, managing, securing, and monitoring services - Familiarity with securing container technologies (Docker, AWS ECS, Kubernetes) - Skilled with AWS security tools: CloudTrail, GuardDuty, CloudWatch, Security Hub, Inspector, Config - Experience implementing and monitoring security frameworks (SOC2, ISO, CMMC, FedRamp) - Background automating security tasks with SOAR tools and/or Python/Go - Knowledge of command-line, log analysis, common attacks, OS hardening for Linux and macOS - Experience with on-call rotations in fast-paced environments - Excellent analytical and time management skills; ability to work autonomously or collaboratively
