VAST Data is seeking a Senior Security Engineer to join its growing security team. The role is hands-on and forward-thinking, focusing on offensive security initiatives, cloud and infrastructure risk management, and internal automation using modern workflows and AI agents.
Key responsibilities include conducting penetration tests across the company's architecture, analyzing deep protocol flaws, writing custom security tooling, and driving security findings from discovery through resolution. You will work on protecting massive datasets across data centers, edge, and cloud environments as the company scales its AI infrastructure platform.
