Crexi is an AI-powered commercial real estate platform that has facilitated over $1 trillion in transactions. The company is reimagining CRE through three core pillars: Access, Innovation, and Connection, serving a community of 2+ million monthly active users.
As Senior Security Engineer, you will design, implement, and maintain security controls across Crexi's cloud (AWS) and on-premises environments. You'll serve as a subject matter expert on security tooling and practices, leading the vulnerability management program and driving remediation efforts across engineering teams.
Key responsibilities include:
- Independently designing and implementing security controls and tooling across AWS and on-prem infrastructure
- Leading execution of the vulnerability management program, prioritizing and driving remediation across teams
- Serving as SME on SIEM, SAST/DAST tooling, and IAM practices
- Partnering with engineering teams to embed security requirements into the software development lifecycle
- Leading investigation and response for security incidents, including root cause analysis
- Mentoring less experienced engineers on security tooling and best practices
- Supporting audit readiness for SOC 2 and ISO 27001 compliance
- Identifying gaps in existing controls and recommending improvements
This is an individual contributor role where you'll guide and mentor others while maintaining hands-on technical responsibility for security architecture and implementation.
