Veeam Software, the Data and AI Trust Company, is seeking a Senior Software Development Engineer in Test (SDET) to join the Securiti Sciences team in Karachi. This role goes beyond traditional QA or developer responsibilities—you'll be a strategic quality architect who designs and implements comprehensive automation strategies across API, UI, and system-level testing.
You will analyze system architecture and data flows to ensure robust test coverage, make informed decisions about automation approaches (API vs. UI vs. integration), and identify issues at scale. Working closely with engineering and product teams, you'll embed quality upstream in the SDLC rather than catching defects downstream. You'll champion continuous improvement in development processes and serve as a technical consultant on quality strategy.
The ideal candidate brings 5+ years of software test engineering experience, preferably at an enterprise SaaS organization where you've owned application and/or security testing for web and network applications. You'll have strong programming skills, deep understanding of distributed systems and scalable architectures, and a proactive mindset around quality excellence. This is a role for someone who wants to influence product quality at a strategic level, not just execute test cases.
