Prellis Biologics is seeking a Senior Scientist to lead analytical characterization of therapeutic antibodies and complex biologics. The role focuses on evaluating monoclonal antibodies, bispecific antibodies, Fc-fusion proteins, and related therapeutics to support candidate selection and preclinical development.
Key responsibilities include performing comprehensive analytical characterization using biophysical techniques (Tm, Tagg/Uncle, particle size analysis, AC-SINS, HIC, cIEF, analytical SEC, BVP assays), generating and interpreting analytical data to support lead candidate selection and formulation development, designing and optimizing analytical methods, preparing technical reports, and collaborating with cross-functional teams in Antibody Discovery, Protein Engineering, and CMC.
Required qualifications: Ph.D. or M.S. in Biochemistry, Chemistry, Molecular Biology, Pharmaceutical Sciences, or related discipline; minimum 3 years of industry experience in analytical characterization of therapeutic antibodies or biologics; strong hands-on expertise with protein characterization techniques; demonstrated ability to independently design experiments, analyze data, and communicate findings effectively; excellent organizational and interpersonal skills.
Preferred qualifications include experience with antibody developability and stability profiling, LC-MS-based characterization (intact mass analysis, subunit analysis, peptide mapping, PTM analysis), bioanalysis of serum/plasma samples for PK/PD studies, analytical characterization of antibody-peptide drug conjugates, and knowledge of regulatory expectations for biologics development.
