Genomics is a science-led transatlantic TechBio combining large-scale genetic and health data with proprietary analytics to accelerate drug discovery and advance predictive, preventative healthcare.
As a Senior Scientist, you will drive innovation and collaboration, acting as a strategic consultant on high-impact projects with diverse external pharma and biotech partners. You will navigate the entire drug development pipeline, from target discovery and validation through to patient stratification. Using advanced statistical techniques and a strategic approach, you will work closely with external collaborators to prioritize therapeutic targets, optimize clinical insights, and unveil new treatment possibilities.
You will communicate insights effectively to help shape team direction and lead transformative initiatives across the discovery and development spectrum. Success requires a robust grasp of statistical human genetics applied inventively in a partner-facing environment. You will excel at unraveling complex genomic data and translating raw findings into actionable consulting insights, working collaboratively with both your internal team and external partners.
The role is hybrid, based in Oxford or London offices. REQUIREMENTS:
- Experience performing foundational genetic association analyses (e.g., GWAS, PRS)
- Strong competency in statistical programming (e.g., R, Python) sufficient for large-scale genomic data analysis
- Experience in data mining and/or management of large datasets
- Confident engaging with diverse stakeholders and contributing to customer presentations
