Join Stepstone Group's development team as a Senior Salesforce Engineer, working within the CRM function to build solutions that support global commercial strategy. You'll develop complex Apex classes, triggers, and Lightning Web Components (LWC) to scale system logic and user interfaces, integrating Salesforce with other organizational systems using APIs and modern development practices. Key responsibilities include building and maintaining custom Salesforce development across Sales and Service Cloud, adhering to best practices with comprehensive code documentation and test coverage. You'll manage CI/CD pipelines, guide junior developers, and take ownership of release cycles to implement and deploy new features and updates. Working closely with internal stakeholders and product managers, you'll translate business requirements into secure, high-performance, and scalable technical solutions. You'll use technologies including Java, JavaScript, HTML, CSS, and tools like Bitbucket and Bamboo, following TDD and Agile methodologies with pair programming. The role involves driving initiatives to help the team deliver, managing discussions with business stakeholders, and leveraging AI tools to improve productivity and problem-solving. Required qualifications: 5-8 years of hands-on Salesforce development experience with advanced proficiency in Apex, LWC, JavaScript, HTML/CSS, SOQL, Declarative Flow automation, REST API, Salesforce configurations, security models, and integration patterns. Understanding of CI/CD and Salesforce deployment methodologies is essential, along with strong communication skills to work effectively with product managers, stakeholders, and administrators. Desirable: Salesforce developer certification (Platform Developer I/II or Platform App Builder). The role operates on a hybrid model with 3 days in the London office, offering 29 days holiday, private healthcare, pension matching, and a supportive workplace culture.
