Payoneer, founded in 2005, is a global financial platform serving over 2,500 colleagues and customers across 190+ countries. The company simplifies cross-border business by removing friction from global payments, compliance, multi-currency management, workforce solutions, and business intelligence.
You will join the CN & APAC Enterprise team as a Senior Business Development Manager, driving new enterprise opportunities across high-potential verticals in China and Asia-Pacific. Your initial focus will be livestreaming, creator economy, and digital platforms—fast-growing sectors with strong market potential—while remaining open to broader opportunities in marketplaces, digital services, travel, education, and emerging industries.
Key responsibilities include identifying and developing enterprise opportunities; building and managing strategic relationships with platforms, agencies, and ecosystem partners; leading end-to-end business development from market mapping through deal closing; collaborating cross-functionally with Product, Compliance, Risk, Legal, Pricing, and Marketing teams to develop tailored solutions; supporting vertical strategy development with market insights and competitive analysis; driving pipeline creation and opportunity tracking; identifying cross-market expansion opportunities; and representing Payoneer at client meetings and industry events.
You bring 5+ years of experience in business development, strategic partnerships, enterprise sales, or platform partnerships. Preferred background includes livestreaming, creator economy, digital platforms, e-commerce, fintech, payments, or cross-border business. You excel at identifying opportunities, structuring partnership models, and closing deals from early discussion to signature. Strong client-facing communication and negotiation skills with senior stakeholders are essential. You combine business sense with analytical capability to assess market potential and strategic value. You thrive in cross-functional, matrixed environments and work independently in fast-moving settings. Fluency in Mandarin and English is required; additional APAC language skills are a plus.
Preferred qualifications include prior work with livestreaming platforms, creator networks, or digital entertainment; understanding of payout and payment needs; enterprise partnership experience across CN and APAC; existing networks in creator economy or platform ecosystems; and the ability to blend execution with strategic thinking.
