As a Senior Sales Engineer, you will be a key member of the Sales organization, collaborating with Account Executives and Regional VPs to sell an integrated suite of Access Governance and Identity Security solutions to new and existing accounts. You will demonstrate deep expertise in functional and technical solutions for sophisticated customer engagements.
Key responsibilities include:
- Develop and deliver technical presentations demonstrating enterprise solutions, architecture simplicity, and workflow intelligence
- Conduct detailed technical discovery and needs assessment with prospective customers
- Respond to Requests for Proposals (RFPs) and deliver Proof of Concepts (POCs)
- Participate in trade shows and industry events
- Collaborate with Product Marketing on white papers, solution briefs, webinars, and blogs
- Work proactively and independently to drive opportunities to closure and impact revenue
- Mentor and coach Solutions Engineers on strategy, customer influence, scope management, and technical presentation execution
- Provide solution feedback and competitive intelligence to product management, solutions strategy, and marketing teams
- Travel up to 40% domestically
You will work in a hybrid model based in the Boston Metro area with remote flexibility.
REQUIREMENTS:
- Minimum 5 years of Solutions Engineering experience with demonstrable success in Identity Governance & Administration, Cloud Security, Privileged Access Management, Application GRC, and/or Identity Security solutions
- Strong affinity with Artificial Intelligence, including Generative AI, LLM, Agentic AI, and MCP
- In-depth knowledge of common Cloud Platforms (AWS, GCP, Azure, OCI)
- Good knowledge of DevOps processes, configuration management, CI/CD pipelines, Terraform, and CloudFormation
- Bachelor's degree in Information Systems or related field, OR equivalent technical certifications (ISACA, (ISC)², AWS Cloud Practitioner, Microsoft Azure Fundamentals, Google Cloud Security Engineer)
- Domain expertise in Identity Governance and Administration, Application GRC, and/or Cloud Security
- Exceptional verbal and written communication skills
