Sereact is a Series B embodied AI company developing robotics and artificial intelligence technologies to transform human labor across industries. We are seeking a Senior Robotics Engineer to join our R&D hub in Boston, working at the intersection of large-scale foundation models and real-world robotic execution. In this role, you will design, implement, and scale Vision-Language-Action (VLA) models and foundation architectures for robotic manipulation and navigation. You will develop strategies for multi-modal data collection, synthetic data generation, and efficient fine-tuning of large-scale models. A key responsibility is optimizing model inference for real-time robotic applications while maintaining reasoning capabilities, ensuring deployed embodied intelligence performs reliably in production environments. You will collaborate closely with the Core Robotics and Hardware teams to integrate AI models into physical platforms, bridging the gap between cutting-edge research and deployed systems. You are expected to contribute to the global research community by publishing high-impact papers at top-tier conferences including NeurIPS, CVPR, ICRA, and CoRL, elevating both the company's and your own visibility in the field. You bring a PhD or Master's degree in Computer Science, Machine Learning, Robotics, or a related field with a focus on Deep Learning and Computer Vision. You have a proven research track record with significant publications and citations at major conferences. You possess deep expertise in PyTorch or JAX, with hands-on experience building Transformers, Diffusion Models, and Large Language Models. Strong understanding of Vision-Language models and their application to Action/Control loops in robotics is essential. You have worked in leading AI research environments and are comfortable operating at the frontier of embodied AI research.
