CesiumAstro is seeking a Senior RF Test Engineer to design, analyze, and implement engineering test plans and procedures for satellite, spacecraft, and aerospace communication systems. This role is ideal for someone with strong hardware and software knowledge, proficiency in RF measurements, test equipment (VSAs, VSGs, VNAs), test architectures, and automation. Experience with phased array testing is preferred.
Day-to-day responsibilities include collaborating with design and test engineering teams to develop test requirements, mapping requirements to reusable test architectures and procedures, implementing test plans and procedures, and logging and presenting results to stakeholders. You will also manage lab and equipment operations and guide key equipment purchase decisions.
As a senior-level engineer, you will architect RF test systems, draw insightful conclusions from test results, and participate in design-for-test planning from early stages of RF product development. You will be a core member of the Cesium technical team, presenting engineering design review materials to customers and the executive team, and participating in proposal-writing efforts. Excellent written and verbal communication skills are essential.
