Alan is a prevention-focused health insurance company serving 1M+ members across Europe and Canada, with €800M+ ARR. The company integrates insurance, prevention, and care into a unified platform and is building a global leader with 1000+ employees.
You'll join the Business Strategy & Operations team, specifically the Sales Effectiveness sub-team, which drives critical initiatives across Sales, Product, and Finance. This team directly impacts one of Alan's most important metrics: customer acquisition cost.
In this role, you'll own revenue operations initiatives end-to-end—from strategy and design through execution and organizational adoption. You'll work across the full sales organization (Account Executives, BDRs, Account Management, Customer Success) to identify gaps in sales processes and design smarter, more automated workflows. Recent examples of impact include automating slide deck generation (saving 1,000+ hours annually) and building an AI-powered outbound system achieving 15% discovery rates.
You'll spend meaningful time in the field observing sales operations, then design solutions using a modern tech stack: low-code tools (Zapier, n8n), AI (Dust, Claude), Salesforce, and SQL via Metabase. A significant portion of your work involves change management—shadowing, training, measuring adoption, and iterating until changes stick. You'll evaluate new tools, run tests, and scale what works.
The role is based in Paris with a hybrid setup, though Alan also has offices in Bordeaux, Marseille, Lyon, Annecy, Nantes, Biarritz, Madrid, and Barcelona.
REQUIREMENTS:
- Minimum 5 years of hands-on experience in RevOps, Sales Ops, or Sales Effectiveness, with several years spent building the sales machine end-to-end (scope, design, build, measure)
- Strong ownership and project management skills; comfortable running initiatives independently
- Builder mindset with hands-on execution orientation
- Proven change management experience: shadowing, training, measuring adoption, iterating
- Ability to write and own SQL queries (joins, basic data modeling), not just read them
- Proven experience with low-code tools and integrations (Clay, Make, Zapier, or equivalent) to build scalable workflows
- Direct Salesforce configuration experience (objects, fields, flows); can articulate what you personally built vs. what integrators or other teams built
- Ability to build and maintain pipelines producing actionable insights with clear business impact
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Advanced English proficiency
- Based in or willing to relocate to Paris, Bordeaux, Marseille, Lyon, Annecy, Nantes, Biarritz, Madrid, or Barcelona
