Sereact is a Series B embodied AI company developing robotics and AI technologies to transform human labor across industries. We are seeking a Senior Research Scientist to join our R&D hub in Boston, working at the intersection of large-scale foundation models and real-world robotic execution.
You will lead research and development of Vision-Language-Action (VLA) models that enable robots to understand and interact with the world with unprecedented generalization. Your responsibilities include designing and scaling VLA architectures for robotic manipulation and navigation, developing strategies for multi-modal data collection and synthetic data generation, and optimizing model inference for real-time robotic applications without compromising reasoning capabilities.
You will contribute to the global research community by publishing high-impact papers at top-tier conferences (NeurIPS, CVPR, ICRA, CoRL, etc.) and collaborate closely with Core Robotics and Hardware teams to integrate AI models into physical platforms.
Required qualifications include a PhD or Master's degree in Computer Science, Machine Learning, Robotics, or related field with focus on Deep Learning and Computer Vision. You should have significant publications and citations at major conferences (NeurIPS, CVPR, ICCV, ICRA, IROS, CoRL), experience in leading AI research environments, and deep expertise in PyTorch or JAX with experience in Transformers, Diffusion Models, and Large Language Models. Strong understanding of Vision-Language models and their application to Action/Control loops in robotics is essential.
