Salary: USD 159,000 - 230,000 / annual

Raxium, a Google-owned company with start-up roots and a state-of-the-art compound semiconductor fab in Silicon Valley, is seeking a Senior Reliability Engineer to join its microLED display group. The team is developing revolutionary semiconductor materials display technology for augmented reality and light-field applications, bringing digital and physical experiences closer together. In this role, you will own the reliability program for microLED-based display panels, working across design, process, and integration teams. Your responsibilities include developing and executing comprehensive reliability test plans, performing in-depth data analysis, and providing product reliability predictions. You will deliver microLED device reliability assessments at wafer and package levels, manage reliability test schedules in a fast-paced environment, and direct failure analysis and root cause investigations with cross-functional teams. Key responsibilities: - Develop and continuously improve reliability programs for microLED display panels - Deliver device reliability assessments using test structures at wafer and package levels - Own reliability data analysis, automation, reporting, and failure rate predictions - Manage and plan reliability test schedules for semiconductor microLED devices - Direct failure analysis and corrective action discussions with test, process, integration, and product teams - Provide reliability inputs and recommendations at design review meetings - Collaborate with design and process teams to ensure outstanding reliability performance Required qualifications include a Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, Computer Science, Physics, or specialized field (Optics, Sensors, Audio/DSP), plus 4 years of experience in optoelectronic device reliability (lasers, LEDs, detectors, VCSELs), 3 years in reliability and qualification testing with data analysis experience, and 2 years with databases and programming tools like JMP or Reliasoft. Preferred qualifications include a Master's or PhD in relevant engineering or physics field, 8 years in semiconductor optical device reliability with display product experience, expertise in DFR methodology and FMEA, experience debugging reliability test hardware, and knowledge of optoelectronic device performance requirements for III-V or LED/display products.
