Salary: EUR 56,800 - 71,000 / annual
Deliveroo is seeking a Senior Regional Operations Manager to lead operations strategy and execution in the Italian market. You will own complex logistic and financial strategic initiatives, define market-winning strategies at a hyper-local level, and drive continuous improvement across the delivery network.
Key responsibilities:
- Own complex logistic and financial strategic initiatives, collaborating with various business units to improve the delivery network
- Define market-winning strategies at a hyper-local level, balancing cost priorities with growth and service level delivery; create models and frameworks to industrialize monitoring and support operations
- Improve customer and rider propositions by delivering better outcomes for all stakeholders
- Serve as the primary Operations point of contact for local Commercial teams, providing rider-supply and operational expertise
You will be a fully autonomous critical thinker with strong analytical and impact-oriented mindset, excellent stakeholder management skills, and the ability to influence senior audiences. You should be proactive, insightful, and comfortable experimenting with AI tools to speed up analysis and workflows.

REQUIREMENTS:
- 5+ years of experience in a high-paced, project-based organization (e.g., tech startup or management consultancy)
- Strong experience in quantitative and qualitative analytics (Excel modelling, database analysis); excellent mastery of Google Suite/Microsoft Office; SQL knowledge is a plus
- Strong strategic thinking ability and effective execution of plans
- Proven track record in autonomously structuring, coordinating, and executing projects
- Ability to prioritize effectively, apply 80/20 approaches, and manage multiple concurrent projects
- Excellent oral and written communication in both English and Italian; proven ability to present to senior audiences and influence decision-making
- Strong stakeholder management skills and collaborative mindset
- Hands-on experience using AI tools (e.g., ChatGPT, Claude) to solve real work problems is a strong plus
PREFERRED:
- Experience with forecasting and modelling
- Proven experience managing and developing high-performing teams
