As a Senior Refined Products Inventory Analyst, you will lead the expansion of Kpler's storage intelligence product from regional coverage to global scale. Operating at the intersection of data operations, satellite imagery analysis, and oil market intelligence, you will ensure precision and strategic value of the global refined products dataset. Key responsibilities include: - Mapping and classifying refined product storage assets, blending units, and interconnection networks by product category and operational function - Validating satellite and thermal imagery to verify storage tank structures, estimate fill capacities, and detect operational anomalies across energy hubs - Designing and streamlining scalable data workflows for terminal onboarding, quality assurance, and automated processing in collaboration with engineering and data operations teams - Applying operational knowledge of refinery storage, blending processes, and transport dynamics (pipeline, barge, truck, ship) to maintain data integrity during market disruptions - Leading data rollout from current European and North American hubs to global coverage, establishing methodologies for new regions - Collaborating cross-functionally with research, commercial, and product teams to share methodology and support sales enablement - Responding to ad-hoc client requests with rapid, well-structured analysis in partnership with Sales and Customer Success teams Requirements: - 5+ years of experience in inventory intelligence, terminal logistics, or oil market data analytics and operations - Demonstrated capability working with satellite, aerial, or thermal imagery to validate asset structures and extract operational intelligence - Strong technical proficiency with data handling tools such as Excel, SQL, or Python to process and audit complex datasets - Proven ability to think autonomously, build operational workflows from scratch, and resolve granular data issues in a remote work environment Nice-to-haves: - In-depth understanding of refined products storage infrastructure (gasoline, diesel, jet fuel, fuel oil), including tank functions, blending operations, and dispatch practices - Experience collaborating cross-functionally across product, engineering, and commercial teams within a commodity or market data environment
