We're seeking a Senior React Native Software Engineer to own the development of high-quality, consumer-facing mobile applications across iOS and Android. This is a full-stack mobile role—not UI-focused—requiring deep React Native expertise, strong native iOS knowledge (Swift), and an engineering-first mindset centered on quality, scalability, testing, and long-term maintainability.
As a senior member of the Engineering team, you'll work within product pods alongside Product Managers, Designers, QA, Backend Engineers, and fellow Mobile Engineers. Your responsibilities include:
React Native Engineering: Design and build high-performance React Native applications. Deliver scalable, maintainable TypeScript code following best practices. Improve application architecture, performance, reliability, and developer experience. Own React Native version upgrades, dependency management, and framework migrations.
Native Mobile Development: Build, maintain, and debug native iOS modules using Swift and Kotlin. Integrate native platform APIs into React Native applications. Diagnose and resolve native dependency issues and bridge failures. Partner with Android engineers on native integrations.
Code Quality & Testing: Own automated testing across unit, integration, and end-to-end layers. Build reliable CI/CD pipelines that prevent regressions before release. Champion code quality through reviews, mentoring, and engineering standards. Reduce technical debt while improving maintainability.
Mobile Platform Excellence: Develop systematic testing strategies across Android devices, screen sizes, and OS versions. Improve release stability through automation, monitoring, and quality assurance. Optimize performance, memory usage, rendering, and application responsiveness. Investigate and resolve production issues.
You'll report to the VP of Engineering and work on products used at scale by millions of consumers.
