Rigetti Computing is seeking a Senior Quality Engineer to build and lead the Quality function at the company. Rigetti is a public quantum computing company developing hardware to solve complex computational problems across industries.
In this hands-on role, you will establish a practical, scalable Quality Management System (QMS) from the ground up while working closely with engineering, supply chain, and manufacturing teams. You will operate at both strategic and tactical levels, defining processes and systems while engaging directly in inspection, supplier quality, and issue resolution.
Key responsibilities include:
- Owning incoming quality processes and non-conformance handling
- Developing and implementing corrective action processes
- Managing quality for high-tolerance machined components, PCBAs, and RF/Microwave hardware used in cryogenic environments
- Building supplier quality programs
- Establishing inspection and testing protocols for quantum computing hardware
The ideal candidate thrives in a fast-moving, low-process environment and is comfortable building structure where little exists today.
