With over $3B in annual revenue and a strong track record of growth, Veeva is seeking Senior Quality Engineers to join its Quality Assurance and Release Engineering team.
In this role, you will be responsible for functional and automation testing of software products serving the pharmaceutical, biotechnology, and medical device industries. You'll work in agile, small team environments with a focus on speed and quality, mentoring junior QA engineers while developing deep product expertise.
Key responsibilities include: creating comprehensive testing documentation (test plans, test cases, bug reports); designing and executing both manual and automated tests covering sanity, boundary, negative, compatibility, and concurrency scenarios; collaborating with automation engineers to expand regression coverage; conducting API testing using tools like Postman; performing SQL database query analysis; and working closely with software engineers, product managers, and QA peers in an agile environment.
You'll need 7+ years of relevant experience including software development and/or test automation, strong knowledge of QA methodologies and tools, proficiency with Unix/Linux command line, expertise in API testing, and coding experience in Java and/or mobile languages. SQL experience, familiarity with Atlassian products (Jira, Confluence), and knowledge of test automation frameworks (Cucumber, Selenium, TestNG) are highly valued. Experience in SaaS environments, remote team collaboration, health sciences/life sciences industries, and mobile testing (Appium, XCUI, Espresso) are significant pluses.
