GoGuardian is seeking a Senior Quality Assurance Engineering Lead to drive product quality across engineering teams. This role owns QA strategy and execution for a product area, working closely with Product Managers, Developers, and QA team members to identify quality risks early in the development lifecycle. Key responsibilities include owning QA strategy, test planning, and release-readiness assessment for assigned product areas. You will create risk-based test strategies for large features, balancing product risk, customer impact, and release priorities. The role involves leading manual, API, integration, and automation testing across web-based applications and services, while contributing to the design and maintenance of test automation frameworks and regression coverage. You will mentor QA team members through test-case reviews, requirement analysis, debugging, and regular technical feedback. The position requires monitoring CI/CD automation results, investigating failures, and collaborating with QA and Engineering teams to address product and automation issues. You'll track QA progress, risks, dependencies, and resource constraints, communicating them clearly to leadership. The ideal candidate brings strong hands-on testing experience including functional, integration, regression, exploratory, and release testing. You should have practical experience with web and API automation tools such as Playwright, Cypress, or Selenium, and understand automation frameworks, CI/CD pipelines, and test execution. Experience leading QA activities for a product, project, or team is essential. You will identify opportunities to improve QA processes, tools, and metrics, and explore AI-assisted QA workflows for requirement analysis, test-case generation, and automation development. The role involves supporting cross-product initiatives and collaborating with other QA teams on broader platform changes. You should be comfortable with stakeholder communication, breaking down complex features into clear test areas, and providing realistic estimates based on scope and risk.
