Fireblocks is the institutional standard for digital asset security and settlement, trusted by major financial institutions like BNY Mellon, Revolut, and ANZ Bank. The Financial Apps unit builds critical infrastructure connecting institutions to the digital asset economy, covering staking, yield, on-ramps, exchange integrations, and Web3 connectivity.
As a Senior QA Engineer, you will own quality end-to-end for complex financial and blockchain applications. Your responsibilities include designing and executing thorough manual test plans across financial flows and Web3 integrations, analyzing specifications for logical gaps and suggesting product improvements, and leveraging AI tools (Claude Code, etc.) to accelerate testing workflows and expand coverage without sacrificing depth.
You'll contribute to building and maintaining test automation across backend APIs and frontend interfaces, diving deep into logs and monitoring tools (Datadog, Sentry) to understand root causes of failures, and partnering closely with product and engineering teams to improve systems. The role balances hands-on manual testing—where you find edge cases and break flows before users do—with automation development in a fast-paced environment.
You bring 3+ years of manual QA experience with hands-on automation across the full stack (TypeScript preferred), solid understanding of blockchain fundamentals and DeFi logic (staking, bridging, transaction lifecycle), and daily proficiency with AI tools to move faster and debug complex issues. You're a fast learner comfortable in rapidly evolving domains, data-driven in your debugging approach, and treat quality as a holistic product challenge rather than a checklist exercise.
