We are seeking a Senior QA Engineer to join our Product Engineering team and play an instrumental role in ensuring quality and reliability of our flagship CMS platform. This is a fully remote role based in Europe.
You will own QA projects end-to-end with technical excellence and accountability. Your core responsibilities include designing, implementing, and maintaining efficient, well-typed automated tests across frontend and backend using Playwright and TypeScript. You will champion strong TypeScript engineering practices, raise the team's code quality bar through improved typing patterns, reusable abstractions, and code review practices, and partner with engineering to define and enforce the test pyramid in practice—establishing clear guidelines on which test level (unit, integration, E2E) is appropriate for each change.
You will perform manual and exploratory testing, document and track defects, analyze test results and metrics to identify improvement opportunities, and participate actively in project kick-offs to understand requirements and influence testability early. You will mentor teammates on TypeScript proficiency and Playwright best practices, fostering an open, collaborative environment.
Key qualifications: 7+ years as a QA Engineer or Software Engineer in Test; deep proficiency in TypeScript with advanced typing and code architecture knowledge; strong Playwright expertise; practical experience defining and rolling out test pyramid guidelines; comprehensive knowledge of CI/CD pipelines (GitHub Actions) and containerized test environments; excellent communication and collaboration skills.
