The Core Services team supports complex workflows, integrations, and data-driven decision-making with a focus on reliability, scalability, performance, and user experience. Core functionalities include Organization & User Management, Authentication & Authorization, and Billing & Subscription Management.
As a Senior QA Engineer, you will play a key role advancing quality engineering practices across the Core Services solutions area. You will design and scale test automation frameworks, improve product testability, and partner closely with Product and Engineering teams to ensure high-quality releases. This role requires strong technical expertise, a quality-first mindset, and the ability to influence engineering decisions through collaboration, data-driven insights, and modern automation practices. You will help drive the adoption of scalable quality engineering approaches, mentor other QA engineers, and contribute to continuous improvement initiatives across the engineering organization.
Key responsibilities include:
- Drive quality excellence by identifying opportunities to improve testing effectiveness, release reliability, and development efficiency through automation, process improvements, and better quality visibility
- Leverage AI-enhanced quality engineering by evaluating and adopting AI-assisted tools and practices that improve test design, automation development, and defect analysis
- Partner across Product, Design, and Engineering teams to influence feature design, acceptance criteria, and implementation decisions that improve testability
- Promote shift-left quality practices by engaging early in the software development lifecycle
- Develop and implement comprehensive test strategies balancing automated and exploratory approaches across regression, integration, end-to-end, performance, and reliability testing
- Drive measurable improvements in automation coverage, regression execution efficiency, defect prevention, and release confidence
- Lead incident and defect management by investigating complex defects, performing root-cause analysis, and providing actionable insights

REQUIREMENTS:
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or related field
- 5+ years of experience in software quality engineering, including extensive experience building and maintaining automated testing solutions
- 3+ years of hands-on experience in test automation development
- Strong proficiency in JavaScript and/or TypeScript with solid software engineering fundamentals
- Proven ability to collaborate effectively across Product, Engineering, and DevOps teams
