Scopely, a leading mobile games publisher behind MONOPOLY GO!, Pokémon GO, and other major titles, is hiring a Senior QA Engineer for the Royal Lounge Casino team in Bangalore on a hybrid basis.
You will own quality assurance for casino and gaming products across mobile and web platforms. Your responsibilities include writing and executing comprehensive test cases covering multiple devices, operating systems, and browsers; performing functional and non-functional testing including network traffic and API analysis; and collaborating with Scrum teams, developers, and QA leadership to ensure releases meet quality standards.
Key duties: conduct root cause analysis on defects, develop detailed understanding of game mechanics and player journeys, create and maintain QA documentation (test cases, plans, reports, training materials), mentor junior QA team members, and support process improvements. You'll work in an Agile environment, identify quality trade-offs and project risks, and communicate proactively with developers and stakeholders during defect triage.
Required: 4–7 years of software testing experience, preferably in mobile, web, or gaming; strong familiarity with mobile and web QA; understanding of client-server architecture, APIs, and network debugging; hands-on test design, execution, defect reporting, and risk-based testing; exploratory testing skills; experience with Jira, TestRail, Charles Proxy, Fiddler, or browser dev tools; ability to write clear QA documentation; knowledge of SDLC/STLC and Agile; basic SQL and database concepts; strong communication and problem-solving.
Nice-to-have: mobile or web game testing experience, passion for gaming, understanding of player behavior and LiveOps mechanics, prior casino/slots game testing, exposure to test automation and AI-driven testing.
