Moody's is seeking a Senior QA Engineer to join the Corporate Systems team in Vilnius, supporting core business and technology operations. This role focuses on test automation and quality assurance for HR platforms including SAP SuccessFactors and Workday.
Key responsibilities include designing and executing automated test cases across HR applications, performing end-to-end testing spanning UI, services, data stores, and ETL jobs. You will drive integration testing to ensure accurate data flow between platforms, execute API and backend testing for data integrity validation, and create robust test automation frameworks using Playwright (JavaScript/TypeScript) and Java with TestNG.
You'll integrate automated tests into CI/CD pipelines (GitHub Actions, Jenkins, Azure DevOps), perform advanced SQL database testing, and leverage AI tools to accelerate QA processes including LLM-assisted test case generation and self-healing locators. The role requires close collaboration with development, product, and integration teams to identify issues and drive resolution.
Required qualifications include 10+ years in SDET roles with deep test automation experience, strong expertise in Playwright for UI and backend automation, proficiency in GitHub workflows and CI/CD integration, hands-on experience with Workday and/or SAP SuccessFactors, API testing with Postman, advanced SQL skills, and experience with Jira/Xray. Java coding with TestNG and Cucumber BDD is essential, along with demonstrated proficiency in AI tools and concepts.
You should have a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field, solid understanding of SDLC, Agile/Scrum practices, strong analytical skills, and exceptional communication abilities. Experience with cloud technologies (AWS), performance testing, and Excel-based reporting is preferred. The ideal candidate is curious, detail-oriented, and committed to driving continuous improvement in testing processes while embracing AI-driven testing strategies.
