Veeva Systems, a public benefit corporation and leader in industry cloud for life sciences, is expanding its global footprint with a new development center in Hyderabad, India. This role is part of the emerging QA and release engineering team supporting Veeva's enterprise cloud platform used by pharmaceutical, biotech, consumer goods, and cosmetics companies.
You will take on a senior quality assurance role focused on manual testing, test automation, and AI application validation. Your responsibilities include demonstrating deep knowledge of Veeva's AI applications to support quality assurance across product releases, primarily performing manual testing to validate application functionality and ensure release readiness, and coordinating with the QA manager on QA deliverables. You'll work closely with onsite QA engineers and product managers to deliver high-quality software.
Key technical responsibilities involve working with cutting-edge technologies including Cucumber, AWS (EC2, S3, Workspace), visual regression testing, and DevOps tools. You'll develop and maintain automated tests supporting the regression test suite, perform functional, integration, regression, smoke, sanity, and user acceptance testing, and identify, log, and verify defects throughout the software testing lifecycle. You'll also collaborate with the onsite team through active meeting participation and mentor junior team members to promote quality engineering best practices.
The ideal candidate is highly technical, self-motivated, and capable of working independently with minimal supervision. You should have strong communication, teamwork, and collaboration skills, with the ability to analyze business requirements and document comprehensive test cases and plans. Experience with defect and test management tools like Jira and Xray is essential. Knowledge of SQL queries and experience in the life sciences and healthcare industry are valued but not required.
