Impulse is seeking a Senior Propulsion Analyst (Fluids) to design and analyze spacecraft propulsion fluid systems and components. In this role, you will perform fluids and thermal analyses of liquid propellant rocket engines, tanks, and feed systems. Key responsibilities include sizing propellant management devices (PMDs), baffles, and screens using industry-standard equations and techniques; conducting CFD analysis of internal flow geometries; and analyzing propellant tank phenomena including zero- and micro-gravity fluid management, propellant slosh, and propellant mass gauging. You will assist with validation testing of internal tank propellant management devices such as baffles, AVDs, and bubble point screens, ensuring model predictions are grounded through hands-on practical approaches. Beyond individual technical contributions, you will develop analysis processes and tools for company-wide use, achieving stakeholder buy-in and providing training. You will also mentor peers and provide technical guidance to support their professional development. This is an ideal role for an experienced fluids engineer with a strong background in liquid propellant rocket systems who is ready to take on broader technical leadership and process development responsibilities.
