Crusoe is a vertically integrated AI infrastructure company that owns and operates the full stack—from power generation to cloud services—to support the world's most demanding AI workloads. The company is solving the critical bottleneck of power availability for AI compute through an energy-first approach.
You will join the Project Execution team as a Senior Project Manager responsible for end-to-end delivery of large-scale power infrastructure projects within Crusoe's data center programs. Reporting to a Program Manager, you own project lifecycle management from initiation through commissioning and turnover, managing engineering execution, construction, completions, and operational handoff.
Your core responsibilities include:
**Project Leadership & Ownership**: Own full lifecycle delivery of individual power projects (>$100MM scale), accountable for on-time, on-budget, in-scope completion. Develop comprehensive project plans covering timelines, budgets, resource allocation, and risk mitigation. Make strategic decisions on scope, schedule, and cost trade-offs.
**Team Management**: Lead a project delivery team consisting of a Project Engineer (technical lead) and Assistant Project Manager (commercial lead). The Assistant PM directs the project controls team (Project Controls Manager, Scheduler, Procurement Specialist). Define roles, set performance expectations, and develop both leads and their teams through delegation and mentorship.
**Technical & Construction Oversight**: Direct design, specification, and engineering of power generation systems through your technical lead. Ensure constructibility, safety compliance, and regulatory adherence. Approve technical documentation and specifications. Oversee field construction, maintain schedule, coordinate contractors and suppliers, and resolve trade conflicts.
**Project Controls & Commercial Strategy**: Set the controls framework and KPIs through your commercial lead. Review cost and schedule performance, hold teams accountable, approve change requests, and drive resolution of critical issues. Own procurement strategy and contracting outcomes while your commercial team executes purchasing and contract administration.
**Completions & Commissioning**: Lead the project team through construction completions, commissioning, and turnover phases. Ensure documentation and system readiness meet operational requirements and support strategic power generation timelines.
**Stakeholder Management**: Serve as primary point of contact for vendors, customers, and internal leadership. Build strategic relationships and provide executive reporting and escalation management.
**Field Presence**: Provide on-site support during construction, commissioning, and turnover phases. Travel to field locations up to 50% as required.
You bring a Bachelor's degree in Engineering and 7+ years (10+ preferred) of demonstrable experience managing large-scale projects with full lifecycle execution focus. Proven experience in industrial and power generation project management is essential. You combine technical command of power systems with strong project controls, scheduling, and commercial acumen. You excel at leading cross-functional teams, making data-driven decisions under pressure, and building stakeholder confidence.
