EVERSANA INTOUCH is a global, full-service marketing agency network serving the life sciences industry, integrated within the EVERSANA commercialization platform. The company provides creative, media, enterprise solutions, and data analytics services to pharmaceutical and life sciences clients.
The Senior Project Manager (SPM) leads internal day-to-day operations and delivery for strategic, creative, and medium-to-high complexity projects from inception to completion, often managing multiple brands. This role requires expert-level project management skills and operates with minimal supervision, serving as the primary internal nucleus for assigned projects.
Key Responsibilities:
- Full lifecycle delivery and management of complex, technical, strategic, and creative projects
- Develop and actively manage project timelines, estimates, risk registers, communication plans, burn reports, and change logs with minimal oversight
- Lead the estimation process and provide project budget and staff plan parameters
- Lead project timeline creation in partnership with internal and external stakeholders
- Conduct project kickoffs and status meetings; create and review meeting recaps
- Develop financial forecasts in partnership with finance teams for proactive financial management
- Facilitate monthly billing, analysis, and action items
- Assist with development of annual and project-based Statements of Work (SOWs)
- Provide input to program Gantt Charts
- Assist with change order creation and management
- Identify, evaluate, log, communicate, and mitigate project-level risks
- Work with Project Management Office (PMO)/Delivery leadership on program-level risk mitigation
- Identify project staffing needs and work with resource managers to ensure accuracy of resource plans
- Resolve conflicts related to scope, schedule, resources, budget, quality, and communication
- Ensure proper storage of project artifacts (FRD, BRD, etc.) in enterprise systems (Workfront, TFS)
- Apply Intouch delivery processes and PMO standards across projects
- Mentor and support training efforts for Account Managers/Supervisors and Marketing Coordinators
- Serve as first escalation point for Account Managers/Supervisors and Marketing Coordinators
- Model inclusive behaviors and proactively manage bias
Work Expectations: 40 hours per week, Monday-Friday; infrequent travel.
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent education plus professional experience
- 3–5 years of experience in a PMO role
- Pharmaceutical or advertising experience preferred (AOR or DAOR)
- Advanced understanding and application of PMO standards and processes
- Experience leading delivery of complex technology, strategy, and creative-based projects
- Ability to develop creative, strategic, or technical-heavy project plans
- Ability to tailor and flex processes to provide proactive project solutions
- Experience leading diverse functional groups and project teams
- Comprehension of project forecasting and reforecasting throughout project lifecycle
- Expert project and program burn analysis and remediation
- Excellent scope and change management tracking and adherence
- Comfortable with client-facing communication
- Strong critical thinking and problem-solving skills with ability to anticipate, assess, and mitigate risk
- Ability to build trust, negotiate, and influence decision-making with Account, SMEs, Clients, Partner Agencies, and third-party vendors
- Strong sense of ownership and accountability
- Strong decision-making and implementation skills, especially under uncertainty
- Experience with Project Management Information Systems (Workfront, Workfront Proof, Smartsheet, MS Project)
- Strong understanding of Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel
- Launch experience a plus
