Scopely, a leading video game and interactive entertainment company, is seeking a Senior Project Manager to join the Playgami team on-site in Barcelona. Playgami is building a SaaS gaming platform that powers award-winning, beloved franchise games across mobile, web, and PC, serving millions of players worldwide.
In this role, you will collaborate with multiple development teams to build new features and platform integrations for Scopely's portfolio of games. Your primary responsibility is to ensure teams operate within a framework that enables visible, consistent, and predictable delivery of top-market features. You will work closely with game studios as part of the Solutions team, supporting Engineering in building custom solutions using Playgami's technology to meet game-specific needs.
Key responsibilities include:
- Leading, informing, motivating, and aligning project teams to deliver on individual and shared goals
- Partnering closely with Product and Engineering to define roadmaps and prioritization criteria
- Owning project planning and execution, building and maintaining timelines, managing dependencies, and driving predictable delivery across multiple teams and initiatives
- Building strong partnerships with game studios and production teams, understanding their business goals, release processes, and operational needs
- Coordinating across game teams, stakeholders, and partner organizations to align expectations, manage risks and dependencies, and ensure successful delivery
- Providing visibility on project tracking and team health, reporting on day-to-day progress regularly
- Establishing and continuously improving production processes, agile practices, and team operating models that enable high-quality delivery, predictability, and positive team culture
You must have the ability to lead through influence and successfully engage with teams, team leads, and executive partners throughout the organization to deliver against Playgami's objectives.
Requirements:
- 5+ years of experience as a project manager or producer
- Demonstrated success managing multiple major and concurrent projects
- Master-level communication skills at all organizational levels
- Strong influencer able to work with diverse groups and push for alignment toward common goals
- Adaptability to foster ways of working that support different team profiles
- Comfort getting into project details while maintaining detachment needed for sound decision-making
- Excellent written and verbal English communication skills
- Full on-site presence in the Barcelona office (5 days per week)
