Cognite is a leader in industrial digitalization, building AI and data solutions for the world's most asset-intensive industries. We're seeking a Senior Project Manager to lead end-to-end delivery of complex Industrial AI implementation projects that drive operational transformation for global industrial organizations.
In this role, you will own the complete project lifecycle from contract signing through deployment, adoption, and value realization. You'll partner with Solution Architects, Software Engineers, Data Scientists, Product teams, and Customer Success to deliver high-impact solutions. Key responsibilities include:
• Leading end-to-end project delivery with accountability for scope, schedule, budget, quality, customer outcomes, and commercial performance
• Translating customer objectives into measurable success metrics and facilitating Value Realisation Workshops to demonstrate business impact
• Managing project financials including forecasting, revenue recognition, profitability, cost management, and reporting
• Building trusted relationships with customer stakeholders, leading steering committees, and providing clear communication throughout the project lifecycle
• Identifying and managing risks, dependencies, and scope changes with appropriate governance and transparency
• Supporting customer adoption through change management, enablement, and training while identifying opportunities to expand customer value
• Collaborating across technical and business teams to ensure successful delivery
• Contributing to continuous improvement of delivery practices through PMO methodologies, playbooks, and lessons learned
You'll work with some of the world's largest industrial organizations in sectors including Energy, Manufacturing, Oil & Gas, Chemicals, Utilities, Power & Renewables, and Life Sciences. This is a high-impact role where you'll drive measurable business outcomes and shape the future of industrial AI.
REQUIREMENTS:
• Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Computer Science, or related technical discipline
• 5+ years of experience delivering complex software, SaaS, cloud, or enterprise technology implementation projects
• Experience managing enterprise or industrial digital transformation programmes involving multiple stakeholders and technical workstreams
• Technical fluency with APIs, integrations, cloud platforms, data architecture, and enterprise systems
• Strong commercial and financial acumen including forecasting, revenue recognition, margin management, and project profitability
• Experience within one or more industrial sectors (Energy, Manufacturing, Oil & Gas, Chemicals, Utilities, Power & Renewables, Life Sciences)
• Experience with Agile delivery methodologies and project governance frameworks (Scrum, PMP, PRINCE2)
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills across technical teams, customers, and executives
• Proficiency with project management tools (Jira, Confluence, Microsoft Project, Smartsheet)
• Willingness to travel up to 25% as required
PREFERRED SKILLS:
• PMP, PRINCE2, Agile, or Scrum certification
• Cloud platforms experience (Azure or AWS)
• Industrial IoT, SCADA, MES, or Operational Technology (OT) environments
• AI, Machine Learning, Data Engineering, or Analytics implementation projects
