Anduril Industries, a defense technology company transforming military capabilities through advanced autonomy, AI, and sensor fusion, is seeking a Senior Project Engineer to join the Test and Evaluation team in Atlanta. This role sits at the intersection of multiple critical teams, progressing autonomous systems from concept through production readiness.
You will develop cross-functional testing and integration strategies, coordinate all aspects of test activities including personnel, equipment, facilities, and regulatory compliance. Responsibilities include overseeing system and subsystem-level test and integration efforts, creating comprehensive test documentation (plans, procedures, cards, reports), and leading test event execution across departments. You'll participate in requirements development and design reviews, support safety and readiness reviews, and lead root cause analysis initiatives.
Key responsibilities also encompass coordinating with government personnel on technical reviews and deliverables, managing project schedules and resource constraints, and executing hardware/software testing with emphasis on resource planning, vehicle testing, and process improvement. You'll establish safe operational procedures and be responsible for observing all applicable laws and regulations.
Required qualifications include a bachelor's degree in a related technical discipline plus 7+ years of test engineering experience. You must have expertise in autonomous vehicle testing, DoD test range regulations, spectrum compliance, and DoD acquisition processes. Prior experience as a test director or conductor is essential. Strong proficiency with agile tools (Jira, Confluence, SharePoint, GitHub Enterprise, Circle CI), Linux/Unix command-line tools, and demonstrated leadership experience are required. You should be comfortable with high-pressure troubleshooting, capable of understanding new concepts quickly, and able to work independently and collaboratively. Domestic and international travel is required. Eligibility to obtain and maintain a Top Secret security clearance is necessary.
