CesiumAstro is seeking a Senior Program Manager to lead program execution for satellite communication systems, UAVs, launch vehicles, and other space/airborne platforms. You will own program performance and day-to-day execution for large customer subsystems or small-to-medium payloads, spanning concept development through production, integration, test, and delivery. You will serve as the primary customer contact for program management reviews, bi-weekly customer reviews, and major program milestones, managing relationships with multiple customers simultaneously.
Responsibilities include establishing program baselines (integrated master plans, resource-loaded schedules), measuring performance against cost, schedule, and technical requirements, and generating revised estimates and estimates-to-completion for customers, leadership, and finance teams. You will use program and engineering metrics to drive data-informed decisions and risk-based trade-offs. The role requires close collaboration across all functional organizations—engineering, finance, operations—to ensure program success.
As a senior member of the program team, you will contribute to process improvement and best-practice implementation across CesiumAstro's Space Systems portfolio. You may also participate in hiring and mentoring of program staff. This is a hands-on, dynamic role in a startup environment managing multiple fast-paced projects concurrently. U.S. citizenship or eligible immigration status is required due to space technology export regulations.
