CesiumAstro is seeking a Senior Program Manager to lead program execution for satellite communication systems, UAVs, launch vehicles, and other space/airborne platforms. You will own program performance and day-to-day execution for large customer subsystems or small-to-medium payloads, spanning concept development, implementation, production, modification, integration, test, and delivery. You will serve as the primary customer point of contact for program management reviews, bi-weekly customer reviews, and major program milestones, managing multiple customer relationships simultaneously.
You will collaborate across all functional organizations at CesiumAstro to ensure program success using risk-based decision-making. You will establish program management baselines (integrated master plans and resource-loaded schedules), measure program performance, monitor progress, and generate revised estimates and estimates-to-completion. You will provide these inputs to customers, CesiumAstro leadership, and internal finance teams for revenue recognition.
As a senior member of the program team, you will assist the Director of Programs in improving standard processes and implementing best practices across the Space Systems portfolio. You may participate in hiring and mentorship of program staff. You will use program and engineering metrics to make data-driven decisions, with accountability for cost, schedule, and adherence to technical performance requirements.
This role requires a U.S. citizen or eligible individual per ITAR/export control regulations. You should thrive in a startup environment managing multiple fast-paced projects concurrently, with strong cross-functional collaboration skills and the ability to balance competing priorities.
