Anduril Industries is seeking a Senior Program Finance Manager to lead end-to-end financial management for a portfolio of complex commercial and U.S. Government/DoD programs across multiple contract types (CPFF, FFP, T&M). This role owns financial performance from award through execution and closeout, setting the operating cadence for program financial management including product costing, capital deployment, EAC rigor, and funding/billing discipline.
Key responsibilities include: owning program financial performance across complex government and commercial contracts; leading EAC and forecast governance by setting standards, building/maintaining estimates at completion, and driving variance/root-cause analysis; partnering with Program Management and Contracts on CLIN structure, funding, burn, billing, and contract modifications; leading monthly FP&A forecasting with focus on understanding program-driven financial changes; driving production and unit-economics insights including margin, COGS, inventory, and working-capital analysis; owning planning deliverables (AOP/LRP) by consolidating bottoms-up program outlooks; operating performance management and EVM where applicable; building scalable processes and tooling including templates, dashboards, and models; communicating clearly to leadership with crisp narratives and decision memos; hiring and developing finance analysts; and conducting ad-hoc analysis for business cases.
Required: Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or related field; 8–12+ years of progressive DoD/government contract finance or program finance experience with ownership of large/complex programs; demonstrated EAC development and forecasting discipline; working knowledge of government contracting fundamentals (FAR/DFARS); experience supporting manufacturing/production finance (COGS, inventory, variances, unit economics); advanced Excel/modeling skills and strong systems orientation (ERP + reporting/tooling); track record leading cross-functional workstreams with Program, Engineering, Ops, and Contracts stakeholders.
Preferred: Full P&L management and Program EAC finance experience; scaling from IRAD to full-rate production; FAR knowledge or DAU Financial Management certification and/or PMP; experience with EVM tools (Deltek Cobra) and program scheduling tools (Microsoft Project); experience scaling finance processes in high-growth environments.
