Salary: USD 191,000 - 253,000 / annual

The Imaging team develops state-of-the-art imaging systems combining hardware and software to address critical security challenges, leveraging computer vision, perception, electro-optical, infrared, and sensor fusion technologies.
As a Senior Production Software Engineer, you will develop product-agnostic software solutions that optimize production efficiency and product quality. Working cross-functionally with production and software teams, you'll enhance automation, build efficiencies, and ensure optimal performance of cutting-edge technologies.
Key responsibilities include:
- Develop software solutions to optimize production efficiency and product quality
- Design and implement hardware testing strategies and tools
- Collaborate across teams to enhance automation and process improvements
- Create and maintain documentation for testing procedures and tools
- Analyze data to identify trends and improvement opportunities
- Provide feedback to design teams for product enhancements
- Conduct root cause analysis for production, product, and process issues
- Lead system architecture designs of technical initiatives
Required qualifications: Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, or related field; 8+ years of professional software development experience; proficiency in Python and MATLAB; excellent problem-solving and critical thinking skills; ability to work collaboratively in cross-functional teams; demonstrated accountability and ownership; familiarity with Linux, Git, and networking; eligibility to obtain and maintain an active U.S. Secret security clearance.
Preferred qualifications include Master's degree in relevant engineering field, experience in hardware testing and automated test systems, strong understanding of hardware-software integration, experience with data analysis and performance monitoring, prior work in high-volume manufacturing, and experience with SQL/databases, C/C++, JavaScript, or Nix.
