Salary: USD 191,000 - 253,000 / annual

The Imaging team develops state-of-the-art imaging systems across hardware and software, leveraging computer vision, perception, electro-optical, infrared, and sensor data to support warfighters and allies.
As a Senior Production Software Engineer, you will develop product-agnostic software solutions for production teams, working cross-functionally to enhance automation and build efficiencies. Your role combines hands-on software development with collaboration across teams to ensure optimal performance and integration of cutting-edge technologies.
Key responsibilities include:
- Develop product-agnostic software solutions to optimize production efficiency and product quality
- Design and implement hardware testing strategies and tools
- Collaborate across software and production teams to enhance automation
- Create and maintain documentation for testing procedures and tools
- Analyze data to identify trends and areas for improvement
- Provide feedback to design teams for product enhancements
- Conduct root cause analysis to triage production, product, and process issues
- Lead system architecture designs of technical initiatives
REQUIREMENTS:
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, or related field
- 8+ years of professional software development experience
- Proficiency in Python and MATLAB
- Excellent problem-solving and critical thinking skills with attention to detail
- Ability to work and communicate collaboratively in cross-functional team environments
- Demonstrated accountability, ownership, and self-motivation
- Experience driving strategic design of scalable system architecture
- Familiarity with Linux, Git, and networking
- Eligible to obtain and maintain an active U.S. Secret security clearance
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:
- Master's degree in a relevant engineering field
- Experience in hardware testing and automated test systems
- Strong understanding of hardware-software integration
- Experience with data analysis and performance monitoring
- Prior work in a high-volume manufacturing environment
- Experience with SQL/databases, C/C++, JavaScript, or Nix
