As a Senior Production Software Engineer on the Imaging team, you will develop product-agnostic software solutions that optimize production efficiency and product quality. You'll work at the intersection of hardware and software, leveraging computer vision, perception, electro-optical, infrared, and sensor data technologies.
Key responsibilities include:
- Develop software solutions to enhance production automation and efficiency
- Design and implement hardware testing strategies and automated test systems
- Collaborate cross-functionally with production and software teams to drive integration of cutting-edge technologies
- Create and maintain comprehensive documentation for testing procedures and tools
- Analyze production data to identify trends and improvement opportunities
- Provide feedback to design teams for product enhancements
- Conduct root cause analysis for production, product, and process issues
- Lead system architecture design of technical initiatives
You bring 8+ years of professional software development experience with strong proficiency in Python and MATLAB. You have demonstrated expertise in strategic system architecture design, excellent problem-solving skills, and experience with Linux, Git, and networking. Hardware testing experience, hardware-software integration knowledge, and familiarity with high-volume manufacturing environments are highly valued. You are self-motivated, collaborative, and capable of driving accountability across teams. U.S. Secret security clearance eligibility is required.
