Salary: USD 191,000 - 253,000 / annual

The Imaging team develops state-of-the-art imaging systems combining hardware and software to address critical security challenges, leveraging computer vision, perception, electro-optical, infrared, and sensor fusion technologies.
As a Senior Production Software Engineer, you will develop product-agnostic software solutions that optimize production efficiency and product quality. Working cross-functionally with production and software teams, you'll enhance automation, build manufacturing efficiencies, and ensure optimal performance of cutting-edge technologies.
Key responsibilities include:
- Develop software solutions to optimize production efficiency and product quality
- Design and implement hardware testing strategies and automated test tools
- Collaborate across teams to enhance automation and manufacturing processes
- Create and maintain documentation for testing procedures and tools
- Analyze production data to identify trends and improvement opportunities
- Provide feedback to design teams for product enhancements
- Conduct root cause analysis for production, product, and process issues
- Lead system architecture designs for technical initiatives
Required qualifications: Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, or related field; 8+ years of professional software development experience; proficiency in Python and MATLAB; strong problem-solving and critical thinking skills; experience with Linux, Git, and networking; ability to work collaboratively in cross-functional teams; eligibility to obtain and maintain U.S. Secret security clearance.
Preferred qualifications include Master's degree in relevant engineering field, experience with hardware testing and automated test systems, strong hardware-software integration understanding, data analysis and performance monitoring experience, high-volume manufacturing environment background, and familiarity with SQL/databases, C/C++, JavaScript, or Nix.
