Salary: USD 146,000 - 194,000 / annual

The Senior Product Sourcing Engineer drives strategic supply network development and cost management for Anduril's Counter Intrusion product portfolio across their lifecycles through cross-functional collaboration with suppliers, engineering, quality, and manufacturing teams. Key responsibilities include: - Conducting supplier selection for specific products using the approved supplier list - Partnering with strategic suppliers to accelerate product development through concept scoping, feature trade-off analysis, should-cost modeling, joint design development, and simulation of mechanical and electronics designs - Developing and consolidating manufacturing BOMs in coordination with Quality and Manufacturing to ramp production internally and with suppliers while maintaining high flexibility - Managing CAPEX throughout the new product introduction (NPI) phase - Conducting value-stream mapping to optimize supply network lead time and flexibility - Completing BOM risk assessments and identifying alternate component sourcing strategies - Ensuring all component qualifications are completed ahead of production - Reducing complexity through commonality optimization and component/supplier rationalization - Leading cost engineering activities to align bottom-up cost curves with product cost targets, maximizing total cost of ownership (TCO) across the product lifecycle - Managing ad-hoc cost issues including tariffs, import/export costs, and cost inflation REQUIREMENTS: - Bachelor's degree in supply chain, engineering, or related technical field - 6+ years of experience in sourcing engineering, supplier engagement and development, or design of electronics and/or mechanical devices - Domain expertise in value/procurement engineering or TCO-related work at the component and product level - Ability to travel 30-40% of the time, variable based on program needs - Remote work available for California-based candidates; preference for onsite at an Anduril office PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS: - Master's degree or advanced technical degree in mechanical engineering - Deeper experience in design and development of electronics and/or mechanical devices, advanced sourcing activities (commodity/sourcing manager roles), supplier development (technology, process, supply chain), or early supplier engagement - Familiarity with developing high-tech products in high-mix, low-volume environments - Experience in fast-paced, startup environments - Ability to obtain and maintain a U.S. TS clearance
