Salary: USD 126,000 - 167,000 / annual

Anduril Industries is seeking a Senior Product Sourcing Engineer to drive strategic supply network development and cost management for the Counter Intrusion product portfolio across its lifecycle. This role sits at the intersection of procurement, engineering, and manufacturing, requiring deep collaboration with suppliers and cross-functional teams. Key responsibilities include: - Conducting supplier selection leveraging Anduril's approved supplier list - Partnering with strategic suppliers on concept scoping, feature trade-offs, should-cost modeling, joint design development, and simulation of mechanical and electronics designs - Developing and consolidating manufacturing BOMs in coordination with Quality and Manufacturing teams to enable flexible production ramp-up internally and with suppliers - Managing CAPEX throughout new product introduction (NPI) - Performing value-stream mapping to optimize supply network lead time and flexibility - Completing BOM risk assessments and identifying alternate component sourcing strategies - Ensuring all component qualifications are completed ahead of production - Driving complexity reduction through commonality optimization and component/supplier rationalization - Leading cost engineering activities to align bottom-up cost curves with product targets, maximizing total cost of ownership (TCO) across the product lifecycle - Managing ad-hoc cost issues including tariffs, import/export costs, and cost inflation The role requires 30-40% travel, variable based on program needs. Preference is for onsite work at an Anduril office, but the role is open to remote work within Texas. REQUIREMENTS: - Bachelor's degree in supply chain, engineering, or related technical field - 6+ years of experience in sourcing engineering, supplier engagement and development, or design of electronics and/or mechanical devices - Domain expertise in value/procurement engineering or TCO-related work at component and product levels - Ability to travel 30-40% of the time, variable based on program needs PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS: - Master's degree or advanced technical degree in mechanical engineering - Deeper experience in design and development of electronics/mechanical devices, advanced sourcing activities (commodity/sourcing manager roles), supplier development (technology, process, supply chain), or early supplier engagement - Familiarity with developing high-tech products in high-mix, low-volume environments - Experience in fast-paced, startup environments - Ability to obtain and maintain a U.S. TS clearance
