The Product Security team is central to Staffbase's mission, ensuring products and customer data remain secure while enabling engineering teams across the company. This role is part of an enablement-focused security function that views security as a trusted partner rather than a blocker, providing tools, guidance, and insights to help developers integrate security early in the development lifecycle.
In this Senior Product Security Engineer role, you will take ownership of high-impact security initiatives across the SaaS platform. Key responsibilities include:
- Improving security automation and strengthening product security pipelines
- Proactively exploring AI applications for vulnerability detection and remediation
- Continuously learning and sharing knowledge about vulnerabilities in the product context
- Enhancing team services through software engineering solutions
- Collaborating with stakeholders across the product department
- Maintaining outbound email security through metrics review
- Managing Web Application Firewall rulesets
- Overseeing Kubernetes and CI/CD pipeline security
- Maintaining the central HTML sanitization service (TypeScript)
