The Product Security team is central to Staffbase's mission, ensuring products and customer data remain secure while enabling engineering teams across the organization. The team operates as an enablement function, providing tools, guidance, and security insights that allow developers to integrate security early in the development lifecycle. In this Senior Product Security Engineer role, you will take ownership of high-impact security initiatives that strengthen product security pipelines and automation. Key responsibilities include:
- Owning and improving security automation and product security pipelines
- Proactively exploring AI applications for vulnerability detection and remediation
- Continuously learning and sharing knowledge about vulnerabilities in the company's specific product context
- Enhancing team services through software engineering solutions
- Maintaining outbound email security through regular metrics review
- Managing Web Application Firewall rulesets
- Overseeing Kubernetes and CI/CD pipeline security
- Maintaining the central HTML sanitization service (TypeScript)
- Collaborating with stakeholders across the product department
