The Product Security team is central to the company's mission, ensuring products and customer data remain secure while enabling engineering teams to build with confidence.
In this Senior Product Security Engineer role, you will take ownership of critical security initiatives that strengthen Staffbase's product security posture. You'll work on security automation and pipeline improvements, proactively explore AI-driven vulnerability detection and remediation, and maintain key security infrastructure including Web Application Firewall rulesets, Kubernetes security, CI/CD pipeline security, and a central HTML sanitization service written in TypeScript.
Your responsibilities include collaborating closely with product and engineering stakeholders to embed security early in the development process, continuously learning and sharing knowledge about vulnerabilities in Staffbase's specific context, and maintaining outbound email security through regular metrics review. You'll support the team by developing software engineering solutions that enhance security services and gain broad exposure to how a growing SaaS company operates.
