As Senior Product Security Engineer, you will be the cornerstone of product security efforts, safeguarding a complex, machine-learning-powered platform. This is a strategic and hands-on role where you'll design, implement, and automate security controls for a cutting-edge AI product.
Key responsibilities include:
- Developing and maturing a software assurance model that embeds security into the earliest stages of the development lifecycle
- Conducting security design reviews, threat modeling, and providing actionable guidance to engineering teams on new features and releases
- Triaging external security inquiries, performing manual code reviews to identify vulnerabilities, and advising developers on remediation
- Designing and deploying automated security controls using open-source tools to detect and respond to attacks against the cloud platform
- Facilitating internal training and workshops to foster a security-first culture across the organization
Required qualifications include 6+ years of application security experience in SaaS environments, strong hands-on coding ability in Python and shell scripting, practical offensive security skills for identifying web application and API flaws, hands-on experience with Docker and Kubernetes, and AI fluency for optimizing security workflows. Bonus qualifications include ML/AI product security experience, cloud security tooling expertise, and secure microservice architecture design.
