Anduril Industries is a defense technology company building advanced autonomous systems and weapons for the U.S. military and allies. You will join the Arsenal-1 hyperscale manufacturing facility near Columbus, Ohio, as a Senior Product Quality Engineer responsible for defining and executing quality processes for missile programs.
In this role, you will drive product development and production quality across the entire lifecycle—from design reviews and quality planning through inspection, acceptance testing, verification, validation, and qualification. You'll champion the transition from new product introduction (NPI) to sustainable, high-rate manufacturing, working hands-on with engineering teams to eliminate product risk and improve reliability.
Key responsibilities include: leading Root Cause and Corrective Action (RCCA) and Material Review Board (MRB) activities; developing comprehensive quality plans (APQP-style) for missile projects; establishing metrics and conducting product health data analysis; managing supplier quality engineers supporting design and development; ensuring compliance with product and process requirements; and driving continuous improvement of the Quality Management System.
You will work across multiple disciplines—reliability engineering, chief engineers, manufacturing engineering, and customer-facing teams—to deliver to customer requirements. The role requires deep expertise in missile systems, including PCBA, avionics, composites, propulsion, and lethality systems, as well as proficiency in FMEA, APQP, PPAP, and FAI methodologies.
This is a hands-on leadership position where you'll be accountable for results and directly accountable for a small team while maintaining technical depth in quality engineering.
