Anduril Industries is a defense technology company transforming U.S. and allied military capabilities through advanced autonomous systems and AI. The company is building Arsenal-1, a hyperscale manufacturing facility in Pickaway County, Ohio, to produce cutting-edge autonomous systems and weapons at unprecedented scale and speed.
As a Senior Product Quality Engineer at the Ashville, OH facility, you will define, develop, and execute quality processes for the Roadrunner program—a cutting-edge VTOL counter-UAS interceptor designed for autonomous air defense. You will work across engineering, manufacturing, and supply chain to ensure missile program quality from development through production and field deployment.
Key responsibilities include:
- Drive product development and production using drawing reviews, quality planning, inspection, acceptance testing, verification, validation, and qualification of processes, parts, sub-assemblies, and complete vehicles
- Champion the transition from new product introduction (NPI) to sustainable, high-rate manufacturing
- Own product risk elimination to improve reliability across the lifecycle
- Lead Root Cause and Corrective Action (RCCA) and Material Review Board (MRB) activities
- Establish and track quality metrics and product health data analysis
- Develop comprehensive quality plans (APQP-style) for missile projects
- Set expectations for supplier qualification, PPAP/FAI, inspection methods, and acceptance test plans
- Matrix lead supplier quality engineers supporting design and development
- Support continuous improvement of the Quality Management System
You will train for one month at Anduril HQ in Costa Mesa, CA before establishing excellence standards at the new Ohio facility. This role requires hands-on collaboration with engineering teams and accountability for quality outcomes.
