Bestow is a vertical technology platform serving major life insurers, unifying legacy value chains and enabling carriers to launch products in weeks instead of years through AI and automation. The company is backed by leading investors including Goldman Sachs, Hedosophia, NEA, Valar, and 8VC. As Senior Product Operations Manager, you will own two primary areas: (1) leading ongoing improvements to the Product Development Lifecycle (PDLC)—the processes, rituals, and tooling that Product Managers rely on daily—in direct support of maximizing team output and product quality; and (2) owning the product roadmap infrastructure, tooling systems, and governance that keep the roadmap complete, accurate, and visible to all stakeholders. This role goes far beyond administrative functions. You will architect and engineer roadmap infrastructure in Jira and AI context layers, producing accurate, always-current roadmaps via beautiful, interactive AI dashboards. You'll partner directly with Product Management leadership to identify bottlenecks in the PDLC and design solutions that improve PM velocity, quality, and consistency. You'll own and evolve PDLC stages, ensuring clean handoffs (especially Discovery to Software) and maintaining "ready-to-develop & prioritized" backlog standards. Key responsibilities include: architecting and maintaining the product operations technical stack with robust Jira/Confluence configurations and automated integrations; identifying and implementing AI-powered tools and workflows that meaningfully speed up PM work (requirements drafting, backlog grooming, customer insight synthesis); establishing governance standards for roadmap data across all PMs; building reporting and dashboards giving leadership visibility into roadmap health and delivery risk; collaborating with TPM and Implementation Managers on release operations; and supporting product team meetings, new PM onboarding, and product leadership. This is a rare opportunity to shape world-class product roadmap management at an AI-native company. You'll be writing the playbook, not inheriting one. The ideal candidate possesses deep experience architecting Jira/JPD infrastructure, AI expertise, and eagerness to contribute to defining best practices.
