RobCo is building the category of Autonomous Industrial Robotics, combining hardware, software, and AI into an integrated stack. The company has raised $160M from top-tier investors (Lightspeed, Sequoia, Lingotto Innovation), operates 200+ people globally, and has deployed 2.5M+ operating hours in the field across Europe and the US.
You will own the product narrative for Alfie, RobCo's flagship Physical AI product line—the fastest-moving, highest-margin part of the business and centerpiece of the company's category leadership story. This is a high-trust, senior role sitting at the intersection of Product, Engineering, Sales, and Marketing, with a named Product counterpart and standing seat at roadmap and design reviews.
A defining feature of this role: Alfie debuts publicly at RobCoN in March 2027, the biggest product launch in RobCo's history. You will own video production for Alfie end-to-end across a multi-month campaign spanning film, digital, and physical activation. This is the kind of launch most product marketers wait a career for.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Own the Alfie & Physical AI Narrative: Develop core messaging, positioning, value props, differentiators, and use cases. Translate complex robotics and AI concepts into language that lands with plant managers, procurement leads, and skeptical engineers.
2. Content & Sales Enablement: Own the Alfie whitepaper, technical datasheets, solution briefs, and use case fact sheets. Build and own the sales enablement deck, competitive battlecards, and demo scripts. Drive 100% adoption among Alfie-selling account executives. Run enablement sessions so commercial teams articulate Alfie's value confidently and consistently.
3. A Real Seat at the Product Table: Work with a named Product/Engineering counterpart via recurring, calendar-mandated syncs. Attend Alfie roadmap reviews by default. Close the loop: bring field and customer insight into Product, and get roadmap context out to Sales before it's old news.
4. RobCoN Launch & Content Production: Own video production for Alfie end-to-end—from recurring proof-point films building the campaign through the flagship film that plays live on the RobCoN stage. Drive Alfie's presence across the full run-up to RobCoN, partnering closely with Product and external creative partners against a fixed, public-facing calendar. Own the RobCoN messaging framework and speaker briefing materials. This is high-visibility, high-stakes work that will be seen by the entire company, customers, and the market at RobCo's most important moment to date.
Why This Role Matters: The category of Autonomous Industrial Robotics is being defined right now. As the first person in this function, you will have rare strategic ownership and direct impact—building something from scratch that will matter at company scale. You'll have direct access to senior leadership and work at the intersection of Marketing, Sales, and Partnerships during a category-defining moment.
Requirements:
- 6+ years of relevant experience. This can be Product Marketing, but equally Pre-Sales/Solutions Engineering, Applications Engineering, Technical Consulting, Product Management, or hands-on roles in robotics, automation, or industrial tech. The company prioritizes depth of technical understanding first.
- Real fluency in robotics, automation, mechatronics, industrial hardware/software systems, or AI—gained on the job, not just in classroom study.
- Track record of turning technical complexity into content people actually use: sales decks, technical docs, training materials, customer-facing explainers.
- Comfortable owning a narrative end-to-end, not just executing someone else's brief.
- Experience owning content production end-to-end: briefing creative partners, managing campaign calendars, taking projects from concept through finished content.
- Fluent in English; German is a strong plus.
Nice-to-Have:
- Experience with RaaS, SaaS, or hardware-software business models.
- Experience running a major product launch or live keynote-style event end-to-end.
- Experience presenting to both technical and executive audiences.
