Cast AI is a unicorn-backed automation platform that optimizes cloud-native and AI infrastructure at scale through autonomous decision-making embedded in Kubernetes and cloud environments. Kimchi is Cast AI's newest product: an agentic platform for running AI workloads in a greenfield space where technology, customer expectations, and competitive landscape shift constantly.
This is a zero-to-one product marketing role inside a startup-like team with unicorn backing. You will work hands-on to build Kimchi's ideal customer profile (ICP) and positioning from the ground up, then translate that evidence into the business's first go-to-market playbook. You'll report to the Director of Product Marketing and work directly with Product, Engineering, and company leadership, with support from Content, Growth, Design, and Sales Enablement as the work scales.
Key responsibilities include:
- Run deep, direct customer research to define and validate Kimchi's ICP
- Own positioning, messaging, and consistency as new features ship
- Design and own GTM experiments across trial flow, content, and channels; Growth, Product, and Demand Gen will help execute and measure
- Translate technical differentiation into value stories that technical buyers recognize as true
- Manage feature launches end-to-end from early positioning through GA
- Build first-version sales enablement assets, battlecards, proof points, and demo narratives
- Maintain feedback loops from customer and market signals back into roadmap input
- Track competitive landscape and share changes with Product and leadership
- Partner directly with Engineering to keep messaging accurate as product evolves
- Build and maintain AI-assisted workflows to make the function faster, more consistent, and easier to measure
As a senior hire, you have autonomy to identify quick wins independently and the judgment to balance short-term results with longer-term roadmap. Success in 90 days means understanding Kimchi's product and priority audiences, scoping highest-priority PMM problems, running small experiments with trackable wins, and taking senior ownership with clear recommendations and trade-offs.
Cast AI is headquartered in Miami with a global team operating across 34 countries. In January 2026, the company achieved unicorn status with a $1B+ valuation following a strategic investment from Pacific Alliance Ventures (corporate venture arm of Shinsegae Group, a $50+ billion Korean conglomerate). Over 2,100 companies rely on Cast AI, including Akamai, BMW, Cisco, FICO, HuggingFace, NielsenIQ, Swisscom, and TGS.
The role offers a flexible, remote-first global environment with competitive salary, equity options, 10% time for personal projects, learning budget for professional development, team-building budget, equipment budget, and extra days off for work-life balance.
REQUIREMENTS:
- 5+ years of product marketing experience with technical audiences, preferably developer tools or AI tooling
- Strong technical fluency; ability to grasp nuances without engineers walking you through every detail
- Hands-on, sprint-based working style with experimental mindset
- Real experience building an ICP and messaging architecture from scratch for a product whose buying motion was not yet validated
- Track record of running customer interviews and extracting patterns that refine positioning
- Experience designing GTM experiments and changing direction based on data
- Data literacy: ability to define success criteria and read funnel or adoption data
- Win/loss research and competitive deal support experience
- Sound commercial judgment on pricing, packaging, and willingness to pay
- Fluent English, written and spoken
Would make you stand out:
- Thrived in early-stage or ambiguous product environments
- Can point to a PMM outcome where AI meaningfully improved speed, quality, reuse, or measurement
- Excellent writing with work samples (positioning docs, launch content, sales narratives)
